Job description

About Denk Pharma

DENK PHARMA GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company that has operated across more than 80 countries since 1948. Guided by the promise “Quality for your Health – Made in Germany,” the company enables access to treatment for customers worldwide through its products. In a rare model within the pharmaceutical sector, customers receive the same medicines and food supplements that are available in Germany. To maintain this standard, the products are manufactured almost entirely in Germany, quality-tested in Germany, and approved in Germany.

Role overview

As Product Launch Manager (m/w/d), you will be responsible for bringing new products into the markets in a structured and controlled way. Your work ensures launches happen on time, are complete, and create the greatest possible impact. Acting as the link between Operations and Sales, you will bring clarity, speed, and coordination to one of DENK PHARMA’s most important strategic processes.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the end-to-end introduction of new products into target markets and ensure every step from the initial trigger to market release is fully tracked and documented.
  • Maintain and further develop the launch calendar so all teams always have a reliable view of upcoming launches.
  • Monitor the status of existing market authorizations and work with Sales on next steps early enough to avoid missing launch opportunities.
  • Align Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure smooth handovers and shared priorities across the launch process.
  • Initiate first orders for new products together with Customer Service once approval is in place, while checking that pricing data is correctly stored in the system.
  • Prepare launch-related data in a structured format and create reports that support decision-making for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Track the progress of ongoing launches closely and identify bottlenecks or deviations early so corrective action can be taken in time.
  • Apply both traditional and agile project management methods depending on the situation to keep launches efficient and adaptable.
  • Use established project management tools consistently for task tracking and documentation to ensure transparency throughout the project.
  • Respect pharmaceutical quality and compliance requirements such as GxP and internal SOPs in day-to-day work so every launch meets company standards.
  • Communicate clearly, reliably, and with a solution-oriented mindset with internal and external stakeholders so everyone stays aligned and results are achieved together.
  • Recognize critical situations early and escalate them in a focused and professional way to remove blockers and protect launch progress.

What you should bring

  • A completed commercial apprenticeship, such as in industrial trade or wholesale and foreign trade, or a degree in business administration or a similar field.
  • Several years of project management experience, ideally gained in the pharmaceutical industry or FMCG environment.
  • Strong familiarity with classic and agile project management approaches and confident use of common PM tools for planning, coordination, and documentation.
  • Ideally, a basic understanding of pharmaceutical quality and compliance requirements such as GxP or internal SOPs, or the willingness to learn this quickly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present information clearly and keep an overview in complex cross-functional settings.
  • A structured, self-directed, and goal-oriented way of working, paired with strong organization skills and resilience in a fast-moving environment.
  • Very good spoken and written German and English skills, with confidence communicating in both languages in an international setting.
  • A strong AI mindset, using AI-supported tools and automation to speed up data preparation, improve reporting efficiency, and spot patterns in authorization or inventory data earlier.

What we offer

  • Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely on a mobile basis.
  • Many social events, including Wiesn visits, summer parties, carnival and Christmas celebrations, an annual team event, and regular after-work gatherings on the rooftop terrace.
  • Open exchange and feedback through monthly pulse surveys as well as regular development and feedback meetings with your manager.
  • Targeted growth through internal and external workshops designed around your strengths and development needs.
  • Health and fitness support through EGYM Wellpass, plus free supplements and snacks such as fruit, nuts, and ice cream.
  • A buddy program that helps with questions, networking, and a get-together lunch.
  • Additional benefits including a €150 shopping card, exclusive discounts via Corporate Benefits, a performance-based bonus, company pension provision, and more.
