Role Overview
This is a contract UI/UX design opportunity focused on remote work for candidates based in Canada. The position calls for a designer who can shape clear, user-friendly digital experiences and support product improvement through thoughtful interface work and usability evaluation.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
Pay is set at $22 to $70 per hour. The engagement is fully remote and expected to require around 10 to 40 hours each week.
What You Will Do
- Develop, assess, and refine smooth and intuitive user experiences and interfaces across multiple digital products.
- Review AI-powered products from a usability and functionality perspective and turn observations into practical improvement suggestions.
- Build wireframes, clickable prototypes, and user journeys to communicate and validate design ideas for AI training interfaces.
- Work with different teams to understand product needs and deliver design outcomes that make a meaningful impact.
- Record design choices and explain them clearly in both written and spoken form.
- Take part in repeated design and review cycles, using user input and data to guide changes.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI designer, supported by a portfolio that shows user-focused work for web or mobile products.
- Strong command of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or comparable software.
- Solid understanding of UX research methods, usability testing, and iterative product design.
- Ability to interpret feedback quickly and update designs as project needs change.
- Knowledge of accessible and inclusive design practices.
