About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to craft intuitive, elegant, and impactful user experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of the entire product design lifecycle, including research, wireframing, prototyping, UX/UI design, copywriting, and user testing. We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, who thrive in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment. You will translate qualitative and quantitative insights into valuable solutions that excel in both form and function, working within a strategic framework that requires the ability to conceive, communicate, and execute a creative vision, further honing your design leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, applying critical thinking to propose creative and efficient solutions to challenges.
• Provide design leadership to unify a group around a common vision and direction, including facilitating workshops.
• Champion a user-centered design approach and best practices to advocate for the end-user.
• Establish design requirements based on input from internal teams and user research findings.
• Present designed solutions to team members and/or client stakeholders, facilitating constructive feedback and iterative improvements.
• Develop and deliver high-fidelity designs, paying close attention to the intricate details and interactions of the user experience.
• Support and lead user research initiatives as an integral part of the design process, including planning and conducting usability tests and compiling/presenting insights.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design guidelines, systems, and standards.
• Ensure all design materials adhere to accessibility standards and comply with relevant industry regulations.
• Identify opportunities for product or feature enhancements.
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and evolving consumer preferences.

Required Skills

• Possess professional experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or in a comparable role.
• Demonstrate proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to conduct usability testing and present research findings effectively.
• Showcase excellent facilitation and collaboration skills, with prior experience working within agile or cross-functional teams.
• Communicate fluently in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, adept at gathering and interpreting project objectives and design requirements.
• Display a strategic mindset, with the capacity to identify needs, think critically, articulate ideas clearly, and align teams around a shared vision.
• Exhibit strong self-management capabilities, including effective time management, prioritization, and accurate estimation of design delivery timelines.
• Present a robust product design portfolio featuring result-driven case studies.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience utilizing AI tools for ideation, facilitation, research, and design processes.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading other designers.
• Demonstrated systems thinking and service design expertise.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset.
