About the Design Team

The Agoda Design team works as a close partner to product managers and engineers to solve customer problems and shape product direction. Designers collaborate on workflows, interactions, and visual design while contributing to both hands-on execution and broader product thinking. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and impact-oriented.

Role Overview

As a Product Designer at Agoda, you will help improve the customer experience across the platform by designing intuitive, high-quality, and accessible products that work well for a global audience. The role calls for someone who can think beyond individual screens and help create cohesive experiences across products and features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery work and contribute to shaping product requirements.
  • Validate concepts, prototypes, and assumptions with users and gather feedback.
  • Share design work with peers and leadership in both asynchronous and live settings.
  • Participate actively in weekly critiques, workshops, company all-hands, and squad meetings.
  • Document your process clearly and explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
  • Promote consistency and alignment in UX across a growing set of products and features.
  • Help steer solutions that sit at the intersection of customer needs, business goals, content, and technology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years working as a Product Designer, supported by a strong portfolio focused on user-centered design.
  • Experience leading or contributing to discovery and ideation sessions with design partners and aligning teams around a shared direction.
  • Proven ability to design complex user flows and end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Comfort working at a systems level rather than only at the page or interface level.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including listening, negotiation, and decision-making.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively.
  • Thoughtful approach to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a naturally curious mindset.
  • Ability to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into design choices.
  • A values fit that reflects motivation, optimism, quality, and integrity.
  • Advantageous to have experience with consumer-facing products and visual design.
  • Previous work in an online travel agency is considered a plus.

Additional Information

This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is offered as a full-time onsite role.
