Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is posted on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application review process and all follow-up steps. The hiring company is seeking a Product Designer for an AI application role based in Ireland.

You will be responsible for shaping user experiences for the next wave of AI-driven products, translating sophisticated model capabilities into interfaces that feel clear, usable, and centered on people. The role spans agent workflows, conversational products, and tools used by developers, with a focus on making advanced AI approachable and practical.

The position sits at the crossroads of product design, systems thinking, and new interaction patterns for AI. You will work closely with product managers and engineers in a fast-moving, remote-first setting, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, quick prototyping, and ongoing refinement. This is a high-impact role where your design decisions can help shape product direction and the future of AI-native user experience.

Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of the full UX and UI design process for AI-native products, including agent experiences, model interactions, and developer-facing tools.
  • Convert complex AI functionality into simple, intuitive, and human-friendly product experiences.
  • Use research, usability testing, and fast prototyping to test and improve design choices.
  • Create and evolve a scalable design system that works across product surfaces and web-based applications.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to move ideas from early concept through to production.
  • Spot opportunities to improve the experience and contribute to broader product strategy.
  • Maintain consistency and clarity across dense, data-heavy interfaces.

Requirements

  • Between 2 and 6 years of experience in product design, covering both UX and UI, with a portfolio that shows delivered work.
  • Background in designing AI-first products such as chatbots, LLM-enabled features, agent systems, or prompt-based interfaces.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, with additional familiarity with prototyping tools such as Framer or ProtoPie considered an advantage.
  • Comfort using AI tools every day to support design, ideation, prototyping, and iteration.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to organize and design complex information structures.
  • Experience working on SaaS products, dashboards, or developer tools.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.

Benefits

  • Market-aligned compensation package.
  • Opportunity to work on advanced AI product development.
  • Flexible, remote-first working setup.
  • High ownership and significant independence in design decisions.
  • Daily access to advanced AI tools as part of the workflow.
  • Supportive environment for learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborative team culture with a fast pace.
  • Wellness and personal development support programs.

Selection and data processing

Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process to help identify candidates who best align with the role’s core requirements. The strongest matches are shortlisted and shared with the hiring company, while interviews, assessments, and final decisions are handled by the employer’s internal team.

By applying, you agree that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and shared with the hiring employer in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.

AI tools may also be used during parts of the hiring process, such as resume review, application analysis, or response assessment, including checks for possible inconsistencies or verification signals.
