Job description

About the role

This opportunity is being shared through a partner company that handles applications and the remaining hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Product Designer for an AI application role based in Germany.

You will create the user experience for advanced AI-driven products, translating sophisticated model capabilities into interfaces that feel straightforward, useful, and centered on people. Your work will span agent workflows, conversational experiences, and tools for developers, helping complex AI systems become accessible and easy to use. The role brings together product design, systems thinking, and emerging interaction patterns for AI-native products. You will partner closely with product managers and engineers in a fast-moving, remote-first setup. The position emphasizes experimentation, quick prototyping, and continuous refinement, with the chance to shape both product direction and the evolution of AI UX at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full UX and UI design process for AI-native products, including agent-based interfaces, model interactions, and developer-facing tools.
  • Turn advanced AI functionality into clear, intuitive, and human-friendly product experiences.
  • Use user research, usability testing, and fast prototyping to test and improve design choices.
  • Develop and evolve a scalable design system that works consistently across product areas and web applications.
  • Work in close partnership with Product Managers and Engineers to move designs from concept through delivery.
  • Spot opportunities to improve the experience and help shape product strategy.
  • Keep complex, data-heavy interfaces aligned, coherent, and easy to understand.

Requirements

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in product design, covering both UX and UI, with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
  • Hands-on experience designing AI-native experiences such as chatbots, LLM features, agentic systems, or prompt-driven interfaces.
  • Advanced Figma skills are required; experience with prototyping tools such as Framer or ProtoPie is an added advantage.
  • Comfort using AI tools regularly in the design workflow for ideation, prototyping, and iteration.
  • Strong systems-thinking ability and the capability to structure complex information architectures.
  • Background in SaaS products, dashboards, or developer tools is important.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.

Benefits

  • Pay aligned to the market and competitive with similar roles.
  • Opportunity to work on advanced AI product development.
  • Remote-first setup with flexibility in how you work.
  • Significant ownership and independence in design decisions.
  • Regular access to cutting-edge AI tools as part of everyday work.
  • A culture that supports learning and ongoing professional growth.
  • A collaborative, energetic, and fast-moving product environment.
  • Support for wellness and personal development initiatives.

By submitting an application, candidates agree that personal data may be processed to evaluate candidacy and share relevant details with the employer. This is done under legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
