Role overview
BENNI. is hiring a Product & Design Assistant to join its expanding Melbourne team. In this position, you will work closely with the designer and production group, getting practical exposure to every stage of the product journey while helping each collection move from idea to final delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Support the progression of each collection from development through to production.
- Prepare and update CADs and tech packs.
- Participate in fit sessions and share updates with suppliers.
- Measure samples and compile fit comments.
- Monitor samples, approvals, and product schedules.
- Keep fabric, trim, and sample libraries organised and up to date.
- Assist with costing, quality checks, and production administration.
- Coordinate wholesale and PR sample activity.
- Help maintain organisation across the team during each season.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience.
- A qualification in Fashion Design or a closely related discipline.
- Working knowledge of garment construction and product development.
- Strong ability in Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent organisation skills and close attention to detail.
- Confidence using Excel and spreadsheets.
