Job description

About Kamada

Kamada Inc. is an internationally active biopharmaceutical company focused on specialty therapies made from human plasma. The company offers a portfolio of FDA-approved products, maintains a strong pipeline, and operates advanced manufacturing capabilities. Its U.S. Commercial organization helps broaden access to these treatments and develop productive relationships with healthcare providers nationwide.

Role Overview

In this part-time Product Consultant position, you will support the introduction of Kamada’s plasma-based therapies to transplant centers, infectious disease practices, and pharmacies. The job centers on increasing awareness, improving access, and uncovering new business opportunities. You will work remotely and collaborate with Product Specialists in assigned regions to help drive sales performance and deepen market presence.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who is comfortable with outbound communication, able to explain scientific information clearly, and motivated by relationship-building with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other licensed clinicians involved in patient care, treatment choices, or prescribing.

Why This Role Stands Out

If you enjoy engaging clinicians, discussing clinical data, and influencing product adoption without the travel demands of a traditional field sales role, this flexible position may be a strong fit. It offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to patient access while working in a collaborative commercial team and partnering with experienced Product Specialists.

This is a part-time, exempt, salaried role. Company benefits are not offered with this position.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and sustain relationships with transplant clinics, infectious disease practices, and pharmacies.
  • Use outbound calling and virtual meetings to share clinical and product details.
  • Work with Product Specialists on territory planning and account strategy.
  • Find and assess new business opportunities through prospecting and data review.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and pharmacy teams on product use, patient access, and reimbursement routes.
  • Share market intelligence and field feedback with Commercial, Marketing, and Medical Affairs partners.
  • Keep CRM records current and accurate.
  • Support distribution partners, specialty pharmacies, and hospitals in arranging product access.
  • Monitor market movement, competitor actions, and relevant scientific updates.
  • Assist with educational programs for key accounts.
  • Take part in internal product and sales training.
  • Offer input that helps shape marketing efforts and cross-functional planning.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business administration, or a closely related field is required.

Experience and Skills

You should have 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales, ideally in transplant, infectious disease, or plasma-derived therapeutics. The role also calls for a track record of success in inside sales, account management, or outreach positions with measurable results. Experience explaining clinical or scientific information to healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders is important, as is familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce. Strong cross-functional collaboration and data-led prospecting experience in hospitals, specialty clinics, or pharmacy settings are also valuable.

Alternative Experience

Direct transplant-market experience is not strictly required if you have demonstrated sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare technology environments.

Equal Opportunity and Background Check

Kamada Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected category. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply in support of the company’s mission to save lives.

As part of its workplace safety process, Kamada performs pre-employment background checks. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be asked to participate in that process. Background check results are kept confidential, and failure to comply or unfavorable results may affect employment eligibility.

Additional Information

This role is part-time, remote, and exempt. It is a salaried position and is not eligible for company benefits.

The employer also states that compliance with the background check process is required for finalists.
