This role is based at the company’s captive operation facility in Magarpatta City, Pune.
Role Overview
The Process Specialist - US Insurance position focuses on accurate and timely transaction processing, customer satisfaction, and day-to-day operational support within the finance and insurance domain. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a consistent commitment to process quality and business standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, interpret, and complete transactions in line with documented business procedures.
- Deliver high-quality service by working carefully, accurately, and within required timelines.
- Handle questions and requests from internal teams and outside stakeholders in a prompt manner.
- Carry out regular work with minimal supervision.
- Keep improving job knowledge by using available learning resources and applying that learning to the role.
- Accept and complete new or varied tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
- Build constructive working relationships with colleagues, mentors, support teams, and leaders.
- Follow Principal Global Services policies closely and remain adaptable to changing business requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, with 15 years of formal education from a recognized and accredited university.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in transaction processing, preferably in the insurance or financial services domain.
- Typing speed of 30-35 words per minute and 30-35 numbers per minute, with 98% accuracy.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- Very good written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to manage routine responsibilities independently with limited oversight.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities and adjust to changing demands.
- Willingness to adapt to change and support others during transition.
- Ability to identify ethical concerns and make sound business judgments.
- Availability to work the general shift from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, with flexibility for rotational shifts from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
