Pricing Specialist

About the Role

Ideal Line Logistics is seeking a seasoned Pricing Specialist to become a vital part of our expanding Freight Forwarding division. We manage substantial monthly volumes, including over 500 TEUs of dry containers and more than 200 TEUs of reefer containers, with a particular emphasis on Saudi exports and RO RO shipments. The successful candidate will possess proven experience in freight forwarding pricing, a comprehensive understanding of export markets, and established connections with shipping lines, NVOCCs, GSSAs, RO RO carriers, and international agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present competitive price quotes for both export and import shipments.
• Manage the pricing process for air, sea, road freight, and RO RO transportation.
• Process pricing requests for Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), reefer containers, Flat Rack (FR), Open Top (OT), specialized equipment, and RO RO inquiries.
• Collaborate with carriers, NVOCCs, airlines, and overseas partners to secure favorable rates.
• Provide prompt and precise quotation support to the sales department.
• Stay informed about market dynamics and updates from carriers.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with carriers and global partners.
• Ensure pricing strategies are competitive while meeting the company's financial objectives.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in Freight Forwarding Pricing.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi export trade routes and the carrier market landscape.
• Demonstrated experience in pricing air, sea, road freight, and RO RO services.
• Solid understanding of FCL, LCL, reefer, FR, OT, special equipment, and RO RO shipment types.
• Excellent negotiation and communication capabilities.
• Prior relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, airlines, RO RO carriers, and international agents are highly advantageous.
• Capacity to handle numerous inquiries efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
