Role Overview
Cadence Education is looking for a Preschool Cook to join its childcare team in Canterbury, England. This full-time, on-site position is suited to someone who enjoys preparing wholesome food for young children and wants to contribute to a warm early-learning environment. The role is expected to begin immediately.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks that are suitable for preschool children.
- Keep kitchen storage and food supplies neat, stocked, and well arranged.
- Deliver meals to classrooms so children are ready for learning and play.
- Wash dishes and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen workflow.
- Support additional tasks such as laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitising toys to help keep the school environment tidy.
- Carry out duties that may involve some lifting and physical activity.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must also meet the applicable preschool cook requirements for the state. One year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service is required, with work aligned to USDA guidelines. A current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification is preferred.
