Pre-Construction Manager

Key responsibilities

• Direct the creation of competitive and negotiated tender submissions, making sure they match the project scope, client expectations, and the company’s delivery capabilities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the pre-construction stage.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to address design and tender-related questions at an early stage.
• Oversee the design portion of all design-and-build proposals, from early concept development through to final client approval.
• Help prepare proposals and presentations for major bids and client briefings.

What you’ll need

• Proven ability to manage projects end to end, including schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
• Strong leadership capability with the confidence to guide and motivate a team.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of the codes, standards, and regulations that apply to electrical design and construction.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Willingness to adapt working hours when urgent requirements arise.
• Experience working as an Electrical Estimator or Project Manager on large commercial projects.
