Role overview
This position sits within the Communications & Marketing family and supports the brand’s communication efforts across audiences and channels. It is focused on strengthening brand image, managing public relations activity, and maintaining a strong presence through events, media, and digital touchpoints.
As the PR Coordinator, you will work under the Communications Manager and help build productive relationships with media, influencers, and regional celebrities. The role is centered on generating strong press and social coverage while representing the brand professionally.
Key responsibilities
- Plan the shooting calendar and coordinate photo/video shoots as well as native campaigns.
- Handle negotiations for online and print visibility with major regional media across the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and South Africa.
- Manage requests for local and international samples for shoots and outfit placements.
- Maintain media lists and meet regularly with important partners.
- Prepare press announcements, including releases for store openings and pop-up events.
- Manage influencer and KOL relationships, including scouting, seeding activity, campaign support, photoshoot coordination, negotiations, and talent mapping.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional celebrities for appearances, dressing opportunities, and cover shoots.
- Coordinate press trips, including logistics and HQ approvals.
- Support translations and proofreading for paid social content and press materials.
- Review global advertising campaigns and assets to ensure they are culturally and regionally appropriate.
- Place press sample orders across product categories such as RTW, accessories, and décor.
- Work with local merchandising teams to keep communication aligned with regional assortment and business priorities.
- Track sample movement in Fashion GPS, create look books, and manage gift inventory.
- Monitor and report media coverage to global and regional headquarters, covering print, online, press activations, and seeding campaigns.
- Track competitor activity and market developments.
- Manage PR expenses, including contracts, payment follow-ups, approvals, and records, and provide support during audits.
- Support market visits and the organization of press days.
