Job description
About OneAsset
OneAsset is an early-stage startup creating a new model in the RWA space, operating where real estate, finance, and blockchain meet. The company is focused on building credibility, structure, and lasting trust in a rapidly changing market.
As a founding-era team member, you will work closely with leadership, take meaningful ownership, and influence how the company is presented to the market through media, events, and external communications.
Role Summary
OneAsset is hiring a PR & Communications Manager to lead its public story across media relations, speaking opportunities, founder visibility, and outward-facing communications in the RWA and tokenized real estate ecosystem.
This position is for someone who can write with clarity, think with strategy, and represent a serious startup in a way that builds trust. You will shape company announcements, market commentary, and founder messaging so that they strengthen the brand and avoid unnecessary noise. In close coordination with the Head of Marketing and the leadership team, you will help define OneAsset’s voice in media, at events, and across broader external communications.
PR and Media Outreach
- Create and oversee press releases, media pitches, founder story angles, and public announcements.
- Develop and keep updated a targeted media contact list spanning Web3, finance, fintech, real estate, and business publications.
- Approach journalists and editors with story ideas, expert commentary, and thought-leadership opportunities.
- Handle incoming media queries and ensure responses are timely and coordinated.
- Monitor outreach activity, follow-ups, coverage results, and overall media performance.
Founder and Executive Communications
- Support CEO and leadership positioning through thought-leadership planning, speaker outreach, interview preparation, and quote drafting.
- Refine messaging for interviews, event participation, and other public-facing appearances.
- Keep executive communications aligned with OneAsset’s overall market position.
Events and Speaking Support
- Research and contact relevant event organizers, conference teams, and media partners.
- Prepare speaker applications, session ideas, and event-related messaging.
- Manage follow-up and relationship building with event stakeholders where needed.
- Assist with sponsorship and event communications from a messaging perspective.
Brand Narrative and Messaging Consistency
- Ensure external communications, PR messaging, event narratives, and public brand language stay consistent.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to maintain a clear, credible, and unified company position.
- Translate product updates, market movement, and regulatory changes into messaging that is useful and easy to understand.
- Guard the brand against weak framing, off-tone messaging, or opportunistic communication.
Reporting and Workflow Management
- Maintain PR trackers, media databases, pitch logs, and event opportunity lists.
- Share regular updates on outreach activity, wins, open opportunities, and potential risks.
- Keep communication processes organized, transparent, and easy to track.
- Identify media, event, or reputation risks early and escalate them promptly.
What We Are Looking For
You should bring 2–4+ years of experience in PR, communications, brand marketing, media relations, or content-driven communications. Strong English writing skills are essential, along with the ability to produce clear, polished, and effective copy. Experience with pitching stories, media angles, founder profiles, or event opportunities is important, as is a strong sense of messaging and public positioning. The role also requires the ability to manage multiple communication streams while keeping details organized and decisions well judged.
A solid understanding of financial markets, startup storytelling, and ideally Web3, tokenization, or fintech environments will be valuable. You should know how to convert market developments into relevant communications ideas and understand the difference between genuine narrative-building and unnecessary noise. A good sense of branding, institutional tone, reputation, and audience context is also important.
Success in this role also depends on execution: strong organization, attention to detail, dependable follow-through, independence, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup setting where speed and quality both matter. You should be able to communicate effectively with founders, journalists, and external partners.
Preferred Background
- Experience in RWAs, real estate, tokenization, crypto, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Existing relationships with journalists or event organizers in relevant sectors.
- Experience supporting founders, executives, or C-level spokespeople.
- Experience handling PR agencies or external communications vendors.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership, bylines, or op-ed placement processes.
What Success Looks Like
- OneAsset develops a public presence that feels clearer, more credible, and easier to recognize.
- Media and event outreach becomes more proactive and structured.
- Founder visibility and speaker opportunities become more focused and effective.
- Press releases, pitches, and messaging assets become high quality and strategically useful.
- External communications help build trust and market positioning, not just visibility.
- The Head of Marketing is relieved of day-to-day PR execution and external messaging coordination.
Important Note
This is not a high-volume, broad-cast PR role. The company is looking for someone who can think beyond simple announcements and help shape how OneAsset is understood in the market.
The right candidate will combine sharp judgment, strong writing, and disciplined outreach to build credibility through well-positioned communications.
KPI Areas
Performance in this role will typically be evaluated based on PR writing quality, media and event outreach activity, support for founder and speaker opportunities, messaging consistency, brand alignment, operational discipline, follow-through, and the quality of external opportunities sourced or advanced.
