PQP Assembler I - Fairfield

Role overview

This position is focused on preparing finished goods for shipment across global markets. The assembler will package products, apply labels, check components visually for quality, and keep the packaging workspace orderly while following GMP-compliant procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble cartons, produce labels, and package completed goods for distribution.
• Use material-handling tools and equipment to move items into and out of the PQP area.
• Carry out line clearance activities between jobs.
• Complete daily POP reports, prepare job-closeout documents, and distribute them as needed.
• Disassemble and put away reusable packing materials such as boxes and inserts.

Minimum qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Skills and abilities

• Comfort using PCs, printers, scanners, and calculators.
• Experience with manual material-handling equipment.
• Capacity to handle physically active work with repeated tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for inspection, packaging, and label data entry.
• Ability to work efficiently at a steady pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Dependable and able to complete routine work with limited supervision.

Compensation

The hourly pay for this role is between $19 and $21.
