Role overview
We are looking for a Policy Consultant to work remotely on a contract basis. In this position, you will contribute subject-matter expertise to support the training of advanced AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that influences how models learn, reason, and perform.
What you'll do
- Review, prepare, and refine policy materials, legal agreements, proposals, and research content using strong Word and PDF capabilities.
- Offer thoughtful guidance and practical recommendations on matters related to regulation, law, healthcare, academics, or finance.
- Examine documents carefully to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with accepted professional standards.
- Assist with document formatting, tracked edits, form completion, and extraction of relevant data.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to turn complex information into clear policies and operating procedures.
- Keep up to date with changing rules, requirements, and sector-specific guidance.
- Present conclusions and recommendations in polished written and spoken communication.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
- Strong command of Word and PDF tools, including tracked changes, formatting, document review, and data extraction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
- Proven experience drafting, analyzing, and reviewing detailed policy or regulatory documents.
- Ability to handle several priorities at once and deliver within tight deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong accuracy and a consistent focus on producing high-quality output.
Preferred background
- Prior experience supporting Fortune 500 clients or contributing to major regulatory, legal, or policy initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with teams from different disciplines to drive meaningful results.
