About the Role
The Shelford Group, a consortium of leading teaching and research NHS Trusts in England, is seeking a dynamic Policy and Projects Advisor to join its central team. This role is pivotal in advancing the group's initiatives through policy analysis, project execution, and senior-level stakeholder engagement. You will support key member sub-groups, manage significant work programs like outpatient transformation, lead policy development on the 10-year health plan, and contribute to the annual event and other shared objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of driving positive change within the health and care sector.
This position is available as a permanent role or a 12-month fixed-term contract. Applicants interested in both options should indicate this in their application.

Main Duties
- Provide central support and strategic direction for key Shelford Group sub-committees.
- Lead and coordinate the execution of agreed strategic work programs, fostering collaboration among Shelford Group trusts.
- Develop policy insights and strategies concerning specialized services, research and innovation, the future healthcare provider landscape, and community-based care models.
- Contribute actively to the Shelford Group team's operations, including the preparation of the annual impact report and shaping the agenda for the annual conference.
