Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Nagercoil is focused on strengthening placement outcomes for students and trainees. The Placement Officer will develop and nurture relationships with employers to generate campus and off-campus hiring opportunities, coordinate recruitment activities, and support learners through the placement journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and sustain connections with companies to create placement opportunities.
  • Plan and coordinate campus drives, off-campus hiring activities, pre-placement talks, and recruitment events.
  • Handle communication with employers and support smooth recruitment coordination.
  • Guide students and trainees through career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
  • Monitor placement results and maintain records for reporting and process improvement.
  • Work with training and academic teams to ensure programs match current industry expectations.
  • Help make learners job-ready by aligning training outcomes with market requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Practical knowledge of campus placement workflows, recruiter coordination, and student engagement.
  • Strong spoken and written communication, including professional email correspondence and presentations.
  • Interest in or experience with career counseling, job-search guidance, and interview coaching.
  • Exposure to training or education environments, with the ability to collaborate with faculty and trainers.
  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for Business, HR, Education, or similar fields.
  • Capability to develop and maintain professional relationships with recruiters and industry contacts.
  • Good planning, coordination, and multitasking skills with close attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Nagercoil and interact regularly with students, trainers, and corporate partners.
