Role Summary
The selected professional will operate CCTV and sewer camera inspection tools to carry out both scheduled and urgent inspections across different pipeline systems. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The role also involves following strict safety procedures and carrying out routine upkeep and checks on inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Use CCTV and sewer camera systems to inspect pipelines during routine and emergency assignments.
- Work with a variety of inspection instruments and ensure they are used correctly.
- Follow safety rules and site procedures at all times.
- Carry out basic maintenance and regular inspection of the equipment used on the job.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hands-on background in CCTV-based pipeline inspection, sewer inspection, or inspection of other pipeline systems.
- Experience handling different kinds of inspection equipment.
- Solid understanding of pipeline and sewer systems, including the techniques used in their maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Careful attention to detail, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Comfortable working with limited supervision, either independently or as part of a team.
- Able to explain technical matters clearly to people without a technical background.
- Physically fit to manage both indoor and outdoor work conditions.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving history is mandatory.
- Extra certification related to pipeline inspection is an added advantage.
- Driving license is required.
