Role overview
Walt Disney Experiences in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is looking for a Photographer to support conventions and events across the property. The role sits within Disney Fine Arts Photography and reports to the Photography Manager. Disney describes its teams as storytellers focused on turning creative ideas into memorable guest experiences.
This position is a casual temporary or seasonal assignment, and weekly hours are not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will depend on business demand.
What you will do
- Prepare on-location studio setups and capture sessions in event settings.
- Manage print-on-site photo sessions.
- Photograph very large groups, including groups of up to 300 people, and prepare images for editing, covering both group and individual shots.
- Set up photography risers and choose appropriate shooting locations.
- Run green-screen sessions, blend in backgrounds, and handle virtual background workflows.
- Capture character interaction photography.
- Work alongside Senior Photographers to ensure complete event coverage.
- Act as a second shooter for major weddings.
- Produce original, creative imagery.
- Lead smaller weddings as the main photographer contact.
- Conduct portrait shoots.
- Create product and promotional images in a studio environment.
What you need
Candidates should understand photography production in a business setting and have hands-on experience with Sony cameras, professional lighting gear, and Mac computers. Strong knowledge of lighting for large group photography, posing for individuals and small groups, and knowing when to use a second light as fill or key illumination is expected. You should also be comfortable using Photoshop and Lightroom, understand composition and exposure basics, and have experience shooting events or conventions. Weekend, holiday, and variable-shift availability is required.

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A four-year bachelor's degree in Photography is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The hiring range for Orlando, Florida is $20.10 to $25.15 per hour. Final pay may vary based on internal equity, location, skills, knowledge, and experience. The company may also offer a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with the applicable medical, financial, and other benefits package depending on the level of the role.
