Program overview

Phoenix is Myntra’s returnship initiative for women restarting their careers after a break. It is designed as a six-month onsite program in Bengaluru and offers a structured, supportive environment with onboarding, learning opportunities, mentorship, practical projects, and strong employee benefits.

Launched in 2021, the program has now reached its fifth cohort, Phoenix 5.0. Participants work with experienced teams in e-commerce, gain exposure to real business challenges, and may also be considered for full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

This role is for a Marketplace Key Account Manager, who will help grow business on the marketplace by managing strategic seller and brand relationships, improving account performance, and supporting customer experience through operational excellence.

Account management and relationship building

  • Act as the main contact for important brand and seller partners and build long-term working relationships.
  • Handle the onboarding and initial ramp-up of high-value brands joining the platform.
  • Run recurring business reviews on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis to discuss performance, share insights, and identify barriers to growth.

Business growth and revenue

  • Take ownership of GMV, revenue, and margin goals for the assigned key accounts.
  • Work with brand partners on joint business plans for the year or quarter to strengthen online growth.
  • Review assortment and stock levels to improve selection, maintain availability, and reduce out-of-stock situations.

Campaign and marketing support

  • Coordinate with internal marketing and merchandising teams to include key accounts in major sale campaigns and platform events.
  • Plan visibility initiatives such as in-app placements, banner exposure, and sponsored ads to improve discoverability.
  • Align with brands on pricing, discounts, and exclusive launches to stay competitive in the market.

Operations and analytics

  • Track core operational metrics such as fulfilment, returns, seller cancellations, and delivery turnaround time.
  • Use marketplace data and analytics to study customer behaviour, category movement, and competitor performance, then turn those insights into growth actions.
  • Maintain strong catalog quality by ensuring good imagery, correct product information, and well-structured listings that help improve conversions.

The role is based in Bengaluru and requires onsite attendance. The program duration is 6 months.
