Whites is hiring a full-time pharmacist for its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this retail pharmacy role, you will handle prescription and non-prescription medicines, support customers with healthcare guidance, and ensure every activity follows the required legal and ethical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions by offering guidance on health concerns, symptoms, and medicines.
- Review prescriptions and dispense the correct medications.
- Manage the ordering and sale of medicines along with other pharmacy stock.
- Maintain strict oversight of medicine and product receiving, storage, and labeling, and keep track of product condition to reduce the risk of expiry or spoilage.
- Pay close attention to customers' needs and provide helpful information and advice accordingly.
- Follow all SFDA laws, regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and skills
The role requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a valid professional license. Prior experience is not mandatory, though it would be an advantage. Candidates should have a solid understanding of dosage measurement and administration, chemical compounds, and branded medicines. The position also calls for flexibility to work across different locations in Riyadh and willingness to work in rotating shifts.
