Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring a seasoned PeopleSoft Technical Administrator in Singapore to support, run, and improve enterprise PeopleSoft systems. This position focuses on platform administration, upgrades, patching, security, middleware, and day-to-day application support. The role calls for strong technical depth, sharp analysis, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of PeopleSoft environments and manage them using PeopleTools 8.5x or later.
  • Handle setup, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine upkeep of PeopleSoft application landscapes.
  • Support middleware layers such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, Java, and connected technologies.
  • Carry out PeopleTools and application upgrade work, patching, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Operate PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and associated update workflows.
  • Manage Integration Broker settings and resolve integration failures or inconsistencies.
  • Perform migration and deployment tasks, including project moves and object transfers.
  • Administer Elasticsearch and Kibana components used within the PeopleSoft environment.
  • Put in place and maintain security controls, user access handling, and best-practice protection measures.
  • Create scripts to automate repetitive administrative and operational activities.
  • Assist with incident handling, issue resolution, and root-cause investigations.
  • Follow change management and change control requirements closely.
  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and improve operations.
  • Write and maintain technical guides, operating procedures, and support documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical administration experience.
  • Practical experience with PeopleTools 8.5x or above.
  • Solid background in WebLogic, Tuxedo, Java administration, and PeopleSoft security administration.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant.
  • Exposure to PeopleTools and application upgrade projects.
  • Working knowledge of Integration Broker administration and issue resolution.
  • Experience administering Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Understanding of application security principles and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using batch scripting or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with change management and change control processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience supporting large enterprise-scale PeopleSoft environments.
  • Familiarity with IT service management and operational support frameworks.
  • Background in automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications in PeopleSoft, middleware, or system administration are a plus.
