About Amer Sports

Amer Sports is known for a portfolio of globally recognised performance brands such as Wilson, Salomon, Arc'teryx and Atomic. The company focuses on technical sports gear and apparel that support active lifestyles, whether that means playing tennis or golf in summer or skiing in winter.

Role Overview

The role covers complete payroll administration, upkeep of employee information, and support across HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the full payroll cycle using ADP/Payforce, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Check and confirm employee working hours, pay rates, and entitlements through the UKG Realtime system.
  • Calculate and process wages, allowances, deductions, tax obligations, and superannuation.
  • Keep payroll records current for new hires, employee changes, and departures.
  • Handle payroll questions raised by employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Balance payroll information and prepare reports for Finance and management.
  • Update employee details in Workday and protect data accuracy and consistency.
  • Draft employment contracts and onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Support HR reporting needs such as headcount and turnover data.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is organised, precise, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to manage confidential information responsibly and communicate effectively with a range of people.

No candidate will match every preferred skill and qualification. If your background is slightly different but you believe you can add value, Amer Sports encourages you to apply.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in HR, Business, or a related area is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll and/or HR administration.
  • High attention to detail and a consistently accurate approach to work.
  • Experience using payroll or HR platforms such as ADP and Workday, or similar systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced capability in Excel.
  • Strong planning and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
