The company is growing rapidly through acquisitions and emphasizes a strong workplace culture while serving a large and expanding healthcare client base.

This position offers the chance to work alongside executive leadership at a well-established, market-leading organization focused on improving financial performance and reducing administrative workload for surgical providers.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare accurate procedure estimates quickly using patient insurance details, benefit information, and historical data.
  • Check insurance eligibility and coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans, to identify the patient’s share of responsibility.
  • Submit prior authorization requests for scheduled procedures using insurance, benefit, and clinical information.
  • Speak with patients about their expected out-of-pocket costs and explain available payment arrangements or financial counseling support.
  • Obtain needed pre-certifications and approvals while making sure documentation is complete and correct.
  • Use several systems, including practice management tools, to research account details and answer patient questions thoroughly.
  • Follow HIPAA privacy rules during inbound, outbound, and returned calls.
  • Collect patient payment details by phone, complete the payment process, and add accurate notes to the account.
  • Escalate complex issues to a supervisor or management when needed.
  • Follow all client-specific policies throughout the patient billing cycle.
  • Respond to requests in a professional, timely manner and complete follow-ups on any open items.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
  • Access to dependable transportation.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Strict respect for patient confidentiality and privacy requirements.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel.
  • Good organization and time management capabilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Working Hours and Location

This is an 8-hour weekday role, scheduled Monday through Friday. The position is remote, but candidates living within 30 miles of the Chesterfield office may be considered for a hybrid arrangement.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 3 weeks of paid time off plus 9 company-paid holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
  • 401(k) match.
