About the Role
Barlo Motor Group is a well-established motor dealer group with three dealerships across Tipperary and Kilkenny. The group represents main dealer franchises for Ford, Hyundai, Nissan, Isuzu, and Suzuki. They are currently hiring a Parts Advisor for their Nissan/Suzuki/Isuzu dealership in Kilkenny.
This opportunity is aimed at a motivated and proactive Parts Advisor or Aftersales Advisor. The salary offered will depend on the candidate’s level of experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interacting with customers and taking time to understand their needs and preferences.
- Keeping in regular contact with customers throughout the process.
- Handling all paperwork connected to incoming parts and invoicing accurately.
- Preparing invoices and managing related administrative tasks.
- Supporting other day-to-day tasks that come up in a busy parts department.
- Driving profitability and spotting commercial opportunities.
- Promoting parts, accessories, and lubricants effectively.
- Tracking progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals.
- Following up on and recovering any unpaid customer balances.
What They’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in a dealership-based Parts Advisor or Aftersales Advisor position.
- Genuine interest in the Nissan, Isuzu, and Suzuki brands, as well as the vehicles and services offered.
- Solid technical understanding.
- A strong focus on customer service and care.
- The ability to work well within a team and independently using your own initiative.
- Strategic thinking and good commercial awareness.
- A full, clean driving licence.
