Job description
Role Summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to support a client focused on data-driven products. The position is centered on developing, managing, and expanding strategic data partnerships that strengthen platform capabilities and contribute to business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build a pipeline of potential data partners across different industries, assess fit, and lead onboarding efforts.
- Lead commercial discussions and complete partnership agreements covering data access, pricing, and service-level commitments.
- Work closely with engineering, legal, and product stakeholders so partnership terms match operational and technical needs.
- Track partner performance and prepare reports on key outcomes such as data volume, quality, and revenue contribution.
- Make sure every partnership follows legal, ethical, and internal governance requirements, including GDPR and CCPA.
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of relevant experience in data partnerships, business development, or a similar tech/data infrastructure environment. The role calls for strong contract negotiation ability, confidence in handling complex commercial terms, and a solid grasp of privacy and compliance frameworks. You should also be comfortable reviewing performance metrics, sharing insights, and working across teams and with external partners.
Technical Exposure
Familiarity with API integrations, common data formats such as JSON and CSV, and third-party data platforms will be useful in this role.
