Job description

About Charlotte Tilbury Beauty

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty was launched in 2013 by British makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury MBE. Since then, the brand has transformed the beauty industry by making makeup easier to understand, choose, use, and gift. It has continued to expand quickly, setting records across regions, channels, and product categories.

Over the past decade, the business has seen remarkable growth and is now recognised as a major name in beauty. It operates across 50 markets and continues to grow, supported by more than 2,300 employees worldwide who form the Dream Team behind the brand’s success.

The company is a global organisation with strong growth, modern retail, frequent product launches and technology-led innovation. Its culture values challenge, fresh thinking, teamwork and energy, and it is looking for outstanding people who want to contribute to its long-term ambition.

Role Overview

As Paralegal, you will provide day-to-day support to the Legal Team across a wide range of administrative and legal coordination tasks. This includes corporate secretarial support, legal research, maintaining precedent documents, playbooks and trackers, preparing committee meetings and taking minutes. You will also help with contract execution, manage incoming queries to the Legal Team inbox, and handle general office administration such as courier arrangements and post management.

With guidance from senior members of the team, you will be involved in a variety of legal work, including intellectual property and trade mark matters, data privacy, reviewing marketing copy and assets, drafting and reviewing legal correspondence, and preparing and reviewing agreements such as NDAs, influencer contracts, powers of attorney, renewal contracts, statements of work, and terms and conditions for competitions, programmes and promotions.

This role offers exposure to a fast-moving commercial environment and gives you the chance to support lawyers on ongoing matters and projects while building practical legal experience.

Working Arrangements

You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel - Global Procurement and support the Global Legal Team in London. The role is based in Central London, with hybrid working and an expectation of office attendance for 3 days each week. The environment is fast paced, and priorities may shift regularly, so an efficient and adaptable approach is essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant position and be confident working in a busy legal setting. Strong communication, organisation, prioritisation and time management skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as DocuSign, OneDrive and SharePoint.

A proactive, flexible and collaborative attitude is important, together with the ability to take responsibility for administrative and coordination work while escalating legal issues when needed. The role also requires a high level of discretion, integrity, and awareness of the sensitivity of legal matters in a high-profile business. You should understand the importance of meeting legal and regulatory deadlines and the consequences of missing them.

A law degree, a non-law degree with law conversion from a top university, or a paralegal qualification from a recognised provider such as CILEX is expected. Relevant experience in an international retail business, a corporate legal team, or a leading law firm would be an advantage, especially if it includes corporate secretarial work, trade mark matters, data privacy, and templated legal agreements.

Additional Information

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty operates in a dynamic environment where business needs can change quickly. Applicants who can demonstrate the required skills may still be considered even if they do not meet every stated requirement exactly. The company values nimble thinking, strong delivery, and a willingness to be part of a global Dream Team.

The organisation is committed to equal opportunity and welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and perspectives.

Benefits

Benefits include a hybrid working model, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, inclusive parental leave for all parents and carers, pension and life assurance, wellness and social support such as Medicash and an Employee Assistance Programme, regular team social events, dog-friendly days and spaces, and generous product discounts and gifting.
