Paralegal

Overview

Fulcrum Law, an expanding and dynamic law firm located in Vancouver, BC, is searching for a proficient and experienced paralegal to join their team. This role offers an engaging and rewarding work environment where you support legal professionals and play an important part in the firm's accomplishments. Suitable candidates will have proven paralegal experience, especially in business and real estate law. Fluency in Farsi is a beneficial addition.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough support to lawyers including conducting detailed legal research, drafting documents, and preparing case materials.
• Help organize and prepare important legal documents for court-related activities such as filings, hearings, and trials.
• Liaise with clients, legal counterparts, and other external entities to exchange necessary information.
• Oversee and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.
• Work collaboratively with lawyers and team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a paralegal with knowledge of legal processes and terminology.
• Understanding of business and real estate law principles.
• Strong abilities in research, analysis, and organization.
• Farsi language skills are advantageous.
• Experienced in using modern legal research and case management tools like LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Clio.
