- Perform legal and factual research, evaluate issues, and distill findings into clear summaries that support decisions and program planning.
- Assist with case management by drafting and reviewing legal paperwork, maintaining case files, and monitoring outcomes.
- Keep records, files, and databases accurate, secure, and confidential in line with agency expectations and legal requirements.
- Support program evaluation by gathering data and preparing reports on key performance indicators.
- Help build reports, presentations, and dashboard-style metrics to show program results and impact.
- Work with internal stakeholders to move agency priorities forward and strengthen service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices for legal and program operations.
- Partner with attorneys in the Legal Department on longer-term initiatives and take primary ownership of document management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in paralegal work, legal support, or executive support connected to litigation, contracts, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience in government, nonprofit, or public interest law is considered an advantage.
- Background in project coordination or executive support is a plus.
- Strong ability to research, draft, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong eye for detail.
- Comfort using case management platforms, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with social service regulations and nonprofit operations is beneficial.
- A mission-oriented approach with attention to client outcomes and broader program goals.
