Job description
Role overview
The cleaner will be responsible for keeping assigned spaces neat, hygienic, and presentable. This role also includes performing any other reasonable tasks that fall within the overall scope of the position, as assigned by the Team Leader or Cleaning Supervisor.
Work locations
Duties may be carried out across a range of sites, including offices, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, streets, parks, and other outdoor environments.
Key duties
- Dust, clean, and polish items within the premises.
- Remove waste from bins and dispose of it properly.
- Keep assigned areas clean and orderly at all times.
- Polish glass doors and similar surfaces.
- Sweep or vacuum floors and carpets in the designated areas.
- Wash bathrooms and toilets, and keep them sanitary.
- Inform the Team Leader or Cleaning Supervisor about any item that needs repair or replacement.
Additional instructions
The employee may be directed to perform other reasonable cleaning-related duties as needed for the smooth operation of the job.
