About the role
The Recreation Coordinator will oversee the planning, delivery and day-to-day coordination of educational and recreational programs for Anangu students living at Wiltja Boarding. The position also involves arranging and supporting programs that respond to the health and emotional wellbeing needs of Anangu students in culturally appropriate ways.
Employment details
This is a full-time short-term contract position at 1.0 FTE. The contract runs for 12 months until 20 January 2027, with a possibility of extension.
Location is listed as 5085 - Lightsview, South Australia.
Qualifications
No mandatory qualification is specified for this position. A background in Physical Education, Outdoor Education, or a related field would be an advantage.
Special conditions
Before starting, the successful applicant must obtain a Department for Human Services Working with Children Check (WWCC). This clearance must be renewed every five years before it expires.
The role also requires completion of the RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course, or the online Fundamentals course, with refreshers required every three years.

Pay and benefits
The salary is OPS4, ranging from $79,432 to $83,266 per year, plus 12% superannuation.
