About the Role
This is an entry-level opportunity with Halliburton for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a career in the global energy sector. The position supports slickline operations and offers hands-on exposure to field service work, equipment preparation, and well-site activities under close supervision.
What You Will Do
- Support the Service Supervisor through every stage of slickline service delivery.
- Help prepare equipment before the job, including assembly, testing, and mobilization.
- Assist with slickline work at the well site while following instructions carefully.
- Take part in post-job activities such as demobilization, cleaning, and repairing service equipment and products.
- Learn and follow company HSE policies and procedures in day-to-day work.
- Build a basic understanding of energy industry terminology, slickline processes, and the main components of a slickline job, including the unit, pressure control equipment, and downhole tools.
- Develop toward future progression into Service Operator and Service Specialist roles.
Requirements
The role calls for strong teamwork, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and enough communication skill to exchange information clearly with colleagues and supervisors. Basic arithmetic skills are needed, along with reading and writing ability. Familiarity with computers is preferred. The employee is also expected to develop driving skills and obtain the necessary license based on local requirements. This role is suited to candidates who can learn quickly and adapt to oilfield service work.
