Operations Specialist - Digital Assets

Role overview

This position sits within digital assets and treasury operations for a European financial infrastructure provider. The business combines established financial workflows with blockchain-based solutions to support institutional clients growing in the digital asset space. The role is based in Frankfurt am Main.

Compensation and time off

The package includes an attractive salary and 30 vacation days.

Key responsibilities

• Handle everyday treasury activities across both crypto and fiat assets.
• Carry out settlement-related procedures accurately and on time.
• Keep standing settlement instruction data and supporting records up to date for audit and compliance needs.
• Identify mismatches, research issues, and complete reconciliations.
• Work closely with Trading, Risk, Middle Office, and client contacts as the operational link.
• Help roll out new tools and improve operational processes.

Candidate profile

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a comparable field is expected.
• Prior exposure to back-office work, custody, payments, or transaction banking is preferred.
• Some early experience in digital assets or crypto custody would be an advantage.
• The right person should learn quickly and approach problems with a solution-focused mindset.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
