Role Summary

We are seeking an Operations Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The selected candidate will ensure seamless functioning of applications and systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor application and system performance to guarantee optimal operational uptime.
  • Promptly diagnose and resolve operational challenges to reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate with development and QA teams to deploy software releases and updates effectively.
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance and streamline operational workflows.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures and system configurations.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call support rotations.
  • Evaluate system metrics and suggest improvements to boost performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Strong grasp of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability combined with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Prior experience in operations or support engineering roles is advantageous.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps practices will be considered a plus.
