Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Operations Analyst to enhance business operations through in-depth data examination, process enhancement, and performance tracking. This full-time position based in Berlin supports operational efficiency and provides actionable insights to drive business success.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to detect trends, inefficiencies, and prospects for enhancement.
• Track and report on key performance indicators using dashboards and detailed reports.
• Assess current business procedures and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with process automation and ongoing optimization initiatives.
• Perform root cause analyses of operational challenges and suggest viable solutions.
• Work collaboratively with teams across operations, finance, logistics, human resources, and management.
• Contribute to forecasting, capacity planning, and optimal resource distribution.
• Maintain precise operational records and reporting systems.
• Develop presentations and reports to aid management's strategic decisions.
• Support implementation of operational projects and initiatives aimed at performance enhancement.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support both strategic and operational choices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in operations, business or data analysis, consulting, finance, or logistics is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and critical evaluation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis tools like pivot tables.
• Knowledge of analytic platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail when handling large datasets.
• Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
• Capability to identify and implement process improvements independently.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Adaptable to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, high-paced workplace.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
