Job description
About the role
SoftConstruct is looking for an Operations Specialist to support its poker network and keep gameplay running smoothly across partner channels. This position focuses on day-to-day operational control, tournament setup, issue investigation, and cross-team coordination in a fast-moving iGaming environment.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily poker operations across the network to help maintain stable and uninterrupted gameplay.
- Set up and oversee poker tournaments, including buy-in amounts, prize pools, tournament formats, rebuy and add-on rules, and event schedules.
- Administer promotional features such as missions, leaderboards, and special tournament series.
- Review and investigate gameplay concerns raised by partners, including tournament logic, rebuy/add-on behavior, and game functionality.
- Serve as the main operational point of contact for partners on poker gameplay, tournament settings, and product-related questions.
- Work closely with Product, Development, and QA teams to troubleshoot technical problems and help improve poker features.
- Assist with testing and validation of new poker releases, enhancements, and bug fixes before they go live.
- Monitor and handle partner requests as well as internal tasks using ticketing tools.
- Make sure poker network rules and configuration standards are applied consistently across all partners.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in iGaming operations, with a specific background in poker or similar peer-to-peer products.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Sports Management, or a related discipline; project management or data analysis certifications are considered an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of the online poker space and awareness of current market developments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage detailed game settings and complex tournament schedules accurately.
- Confidence in acting as a dependable contact for both external partners and internal teams.
- Capability to spot and analyze logic-related issues in gaming software.
- Willingness to support network operations during high-traffic tournaments and special events.
- High attention to detail when working with buy-ins, prize pools, and advanced game rules.
- Strong problem-solving skills for technical gameplay incidents.
- Ownership mindset, with the ability to take tasks from ticket creation through to closure.
- Ability to stay organized and effective in a dynamic, fast-paced network environment.
