Role Overview
Siemens Mobility is looking for an Operational Buyer to support procurement execution, supplier coordination, inventory replenishment, and related supply chain activities at its Aurangabad location. The role contributes to keeping production supplied, invoices and receipts aligned, and supplier performance on track.

What You Will Do
- Raise purchase orders against production requirements and stock replenishment needs using SAP and One SRM.
- Share accurate material availability updates with production planning, product management, and sales teams.
- Support accounts payable reconciliation activities.
- Follow up on expedited and delayed shipments with shipping agencies, logistics partners, and customs teams.
- Partner with quality management teams to handle return goods and secure credit receipts.
- Build and maintain effective communication with project management, procurement, finance, and suppliers.
- Track supplier performance and contribute to vendor development initiatives.
- Handle GR/IR and purchase order maintenance, including aging analysis, goods receipt versus invoice checks, and discrepancy resolution.
- Examine invoices in the P2P system, along with info records and confirmation messages.
- Coordinate quality-related returns and ensure corresponding credit postings are completed.
- Monitor and maintain supply KPIs.
Desired Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Background in, or education related to, Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Prior experience in preparing reports is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are needed, along with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% is required.
