Job description

Role overview

This is a dual-function position based at the New York City office of a leading accelerator focused on founders in crypto, blockchain, web3, and decentralized technology. The organization has supported more than 300 startups since 2020, with a combined valuation above $15B. The role is designed for a highly organized, self-directed professional who can keep office operations running smoothly while also giving direct support to leadership.

The environment is fast-moving and high-performance, with a lean team of experienced operators. Success in this role means removing friction from the day-to-day workplace, anticipating needs before they become issues, and maintaining a polished, efficient headquarters.

Work location and schedule

This position is fully onsite in New York City. Remote work is not available. The role is full-time and based in New York, NY (100% onsite in the office).

Office operations

  • Keep the workplace neat, organized, and ready for visitors throughout the day, including meeting rooms and shared areas.
  • Track, replenish, and arrange office inventory such as supplies, snacks, beverages, and kitchen items.
  • Manage incoming mail, courier drops, package handling, and related logistics.
  • Act as the main contact for building management, cleaners, utilities, and outside service vendors.
  • Coordinate calendars and bookings for shared office resources and meeting rooms.
  • Support local leadership and team members with daily operational coordination.

Executive support

  • Handle complex scheduling, calendar coordination, and multi-person meeting setup for leadership.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, hotel stays, reservations, and detailed itineraries.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including research, document preparation, and occasional personal errands.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups across several active workstreams.
  • Support inbox organization, visitor logistics, and communication with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project coordination ability, with confidence managing several priorities at once.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, plus a professional and polished interpersonal style.
  • High discretion, sound judgment, and emotional intelligence when handling confidential or sensitive matters.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and spot needs early.
  • Must already be in New York City or able to relocate there immediately for onsite work.

Preferred background

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup, venture capital, coworking, premium hospitality, or corporate events setting.
  • Interest in or familiarity with startups, venture capital, or emerging technology.

Success profile

  • Thrives with a high level of autonomy and does not need close supervision.
  • Comfortable taking on any task, large or small, with a practical and low-ego approach.
  • Well-suited to a demanding environment that values commitment, focus, and rapid growth.
