Role overview
Canada Notary, a large notary and document services network in Ontario, is seeking a dependable and detail-focused representative for its Hamilton office at 1219 Main Street East. This is an in-person client service role where you will support people coming in for notarization, Commissioner of Oaths services, and general document assistance.
Many clients will arrive after finding the office online, either through scheduled appointments or as walk-ins. The position calls for quick, accurate, and professional service that helps maintain the organization’s standards and reputation.
What you will do
- Welcome and assist both walk-in and pre-booked clients who need notarization or commissioning services.
- Record each transaction and payment carefully and without errors.
- Keep the service area neat, orderly, and professionally presented.
- Send apostille, translation, and shipping requests to the central support team for follow-up.
- Ask satisfied clients to leave Google reviews at the time of service.
- Share daily service volumes and deposit details according to company process.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong habit of accurate record keeping.
- Clear, professional communication skills for working directly with clients.
- Dependability and punctuality during the stated working hours.
- Basic comfort using digital tools such as scheduling systems, messaging tools, and payment terminals.
- A commissioner or notary credential is considered an advantage, and candidates who are willing to obtain one may also be considered.
Working hours and location
The role is based in Hamilton, Ontario, at 1219 Main Street East. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
