Job description
About the Role
BreakFree Adelaide is situated in Adelaide’s lively West End, surrounded by a creative arts scene, popular dining spots, rooftop bars, and energetic nightlife. The property offers fully equipped studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. In this role, you become the steady point of contact during the overnight hours, supporting both guests and the hotel team while the property transitions into the next trading day.
Role Purpose
As the Night Auditor, you will handle the end-of-day accounting close and prepare overnight records for the following day’s operations. Alongside audit duties, you will respond to guest needs after hours and remain the calm, reliable presence on site throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations during the night shift and complete the nightly audit process with accurate, current reporting.
- Coordinate with the security team to monitor building safety systems and help maintain a secure environment for guests and colleagues.
- Support the daytime team by ensuring information and tasks are handed over smoothly for uninterrupted service.
- Work across the overnight roster, with shifts running from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Experience and Skills
- Comfort working independently and taking initiative without close supervision.
- Previous exposure to night audit work or accounting tasks, along with the technical ability to process hotel transactions overnight, is strongly valued.
- A practical, fast-acting problem solver who keeps guest needs at the centre of every decision.
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and public holidays.
Benefits
- ALL Heartist Membership with discounts on accommodation and food and beverage around the world.
- Family and Friends discounts across selected stays, services, and events.
- Access to the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program to collect status and reward points on global stays.
- Learning and development support through Accor Academy and Typsy.
- Opportunity to connect with a worldwide network of more than 300,000 Accor professionals.
- Career growth potential across a global hotel group with over 400 hotels in the Pacific and more than 5,000 properties in 110 countries.
About the Employer
Accor is committed to an inclusive workplace where people are encouraged to be themselves, develop their skills, and build meaningful careers. The organisation values diversity and aims to create opportunities across its global hospitality network.
