Role Overview
A household in northwest Calgary is looking for a dependable, warm, and energetic nanny to look after children in a home setting. This opportunity is open to students, new graduates, and people who already have experience supporting children and want practical, meaningful caregiving experience.
Job Details
- Work schedule: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, roughly 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Employment type: Full-time, term/contract
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Location: NW Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and safe day-to-day care for children in a nurturing home environment
- Plan and lead activities, games, and outings that suit the children’s ages and interests
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks and serve them as needed
- Help children with hygiene routines and general personal care
- Encourage emotional health and age-appropriate social development
- Support children during rest or nap times
- Handle light cleaning and tidying tasks connected to childcare
- Do laundry and care for household linens
- Keep common areas organized, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Assist with pet care when required
Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3 years of childcare-related work experience
- Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong references

Additional Requirements
- The home is non-smoking
