Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Music Professional in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The selected person will partner with artists, labels, and internal teams to support music creation, production, and release coordination. The role combines artistic guidance, operational support, and artist development, with an emphasis on accurate delivery and strong client relationships.
What You Will Do
You will advise artists on production quality and live performance standards, assist with release planning, and work with distribution and publishing teams to make sure metadata is correct and content reaches platforms on time. You will review songs and catalogues, share constructive feedback on creative direction, and support artist learning through workshops or training sessions. The role also includes spotting promising talent, maintaining relationships with important clients, and contributing to promotional work and catalogue growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have a solid grounding in music and the wider music business, along with a practical understanding of digital distribution, rights management, and publishing. Experience in performance, production, or music education is valuable, as is the ability to mentor artists and stakeholders. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are needed, together with close attention to detail and comfort handling several deadlines at once. Familiarity with major streaming services, current music trends, and using data to guide decisions will be important. A diploma or degree in Music, Audio Production, Arts Management, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
