Role overview

KeenLogic is hiring a Multimedia Specialist – Videographer to support video production and digital media work for the U.S. House of Representatives. This role is involved throughout the multimedia production process, from shaping video ideas and reviewing stakeholder feedback to final delivery of completed projects.

Work arrangement and contract details

  • This is a full-time, onsite position based in Washington, DC.
  • The assignment is structured as a base year with two optional extension years.
  • The expected contract start is in September 2026.
  • The schedule is 40 hours per week.
  • Core working hours are Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • Additional hours may be required when workload demands increase.

Required qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience across multiple digital media areas is needed, including video publishing/syndication, web production, audio editing, photo editing, and motion graphics.
  • Applicants must have hands-on, current professional experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Team Projects in both Mac and PC environments.

Job expectations

  • Strong customer service awareness, including the ability to assess needs, maintain quality, and provide reliable status updates on video projects.
  • Capability to build and sustain productive working relationships with cross-functional House staff.
  • Comfort managing several tasks at once and adapting quickly when priorities change.
  • Working knowledge of media production, communication, and visual aid creation.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with customer satisfaction assessment and quality review processes.
  • Ability to work under competing deadlines that may change frequently.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver videography, video editing, and motion graphics services that meet expectations; assignments may also include still photography in studio or field settings.
  • Develop video concepts and production approaches, coordinating with cross-functional teammates to ensure the finished product aligns with client goals.
  • Keep current with modern multimedia editing tools and techniques, with a strong focus on Adobe Creative Suite, and help train teammates on video equipment and multimedia software.
  • Carry out other official assignments as needed.
