Role overview
This position focuses on creating polished, engaging multimedia assets across video, motion graphics, graphic design, and web development. It is a full-time hybrid-remote role based in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
The selected candidate must live within commuting distance of Middletown, PA so they can handle onsite needs such as filming, audio recording, meetings, trainings, and occasional culture-related events.
The ideal background combines film production, graphic design, animation, and web design experience to support marketing and brand efforts across both digital and print channels.
Video production
You will plan and produce videos that blend live footage, graphics, and animation to communicate stories or highlight products and services. The role includes filming, editing, sound work, post-production, scripting as needed, sourcing assets such as footage, photos, music, and templates, and helping with shoots by setting up lights and audio, operating camera equipment, running teleprompters, and cueing on-air talent.
Graphic design
Responsibilities include designing attractive print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, and social media creative. You will also help maintain a consistent visual identity across all multimedia output while following brand standards and ensuring a professional finish in every format.
Web design
The role also includes building and updating engaging webpages, landing pages, and other digital assets. You will partner with marketing to keep design, function, and user experience aligned with brand expectations, help maintain websites for Vizo Financial and its credit union clients, review site performance and structure, and contribute recommendations for improvements. Mobile-friendly, ADA-compliant design is also part of the job.
Tracking and coordination
You will assist with project tracking and production scheduling to meet departmental and media deadlines. The role requires accurate time tracking for video and website edits, organized archiving of footage and design files, and maintaining logs for project assets such as graphics and demos.
Requirements and qualifications
A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent education and experience. Alternatively, three to five years of related experience and/or training in marketing, graphic design, multimedia arts, video production, web design, or a similar field is acceptable.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard internet, email, and contact management tools is also expected.
Additional technical knowledge includes AP Stylebook familiarity and working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and similar technologies. Experience reviewing analytics and media reports such as Google Analytics, YouTube, Apple Podcast, Spotify podcast, and social media reporting is beneficial but not mandatory.
The role may require lifting or moving up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. It also involves occasional driving to corporate events or credit unions and travel that may include five to 10 overnight trips per year.
Schedule and compensation
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay starts at $26.00 per hour.
