The organisation is known for delivering efficient, high-quality patient care and serves both outpatient and referrer-based cases in a welcoming, team-oriented setting.
About the role
The Campbelltown practice is looking for a skilled and assured MRI Radiographer to join the team on a full-time basis. The position involves working with a wide-bore MRI system and handling a varied caseload that includes musculoskeletal, neuro, body and other routine MRI studies. This is a strong fit for someone who wants to work in a busy yet supportive private practice while building advanced MRI capability and helping improve workflow and clinical outcomes.
You will be part of a collaborative onsite team that includes radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and administrative staff.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out MRI scans to a high standard in line with South West Radiology procedures and recognised best-practice guidelines.
- Provide safe and compassionate patient care, with attention to comfort, communication and overall patient experience.
- Complete thorough MRI safety checks and ensure every examination is performed safely.
- Handle day-to-day workflow efficiently in a busy list while keeping imaging quality and patient throughput at a high level.
- Work alongside radiologists, referrers and the wider team to support prompt reporting and a smooth service.
- Keep patient records accurate and follow all regulatory, safety and infection prevention requirements.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
- Active NSW radiation licence (EPA).
- At least 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or high-volume private imaging environment.
- CT experience is preferred and may open access to multi-modality work within the group.
- Confidence working in a fast-moving setting while maintaining strong clinical standards.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on patient care.
What we offer
- Competitive pay based on experience, plus 12% superannuation and 20% leave loading.
- Gift cards for birthdays, work anniversaries and Christmas.
- Employee Assistance Program support.
- Novated leasing options.
- Salary packaging.
- Friendly colleagues and an experienced radiologist onsite.
- Weekend overtime opportunities.
- Annual performance development and review process.
- Access to modern MRI equipment within a well-supported private practice.
- Ongoing professional development and scope to grow within an expanding imaging network.
- A collaborative team environment with experienced radiologists and technologists.
- The chance to contribute to quality imaging services for the Campbelltown community.
