Job description
Overview
A major Japanese transportation company is hiring a moving services staff member for its Frankfurt branch. This role suits people with experience in customer-facing service work who can deliver polite, Japan-style service. Prior moving experience is not required, so candidates from a wide range of backgrounds may be considered.
Applicants holding a German working holiday visa may also be eligible if they have close to one year of validity remaining. Depending on performance, support for changing to a different visa status may be considered later.
What You’ll Do
- Provide moving support mainly for Japanese customers
- Handle packing, loading, and unloading tasks
- Communicate with customers and support them throughout the move
- Carry out pre-move inspections and site checks
- Complete related office and administrative work
What We’re Looking For
- A strong understanding of courteous, customer-first service
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- Valid manual transmission driving licence is required
- Japanese at native level is essential
- English communication skills are required
- Must be willing and able to travel within Germany, including overnight business trips
Working Conditions
This is a permanent full-time position based in Frankfurt, Germany. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour break. The role starts as soon as the selection process is completed.
