Role Overview
As a Mobile Mortgage Manager, you will guide customers through the full home-buying process by understanding their home loan requirements and helping them find the right lending solution. This is a mobile position, so you will have the flexibility to meet customers at times and places that suit them, including outside normal business hours.
You will serve as a dependable home lending specialist and advisor while also generating new business through relationships with external partners and key referral sources.

Location: Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
Work hours: 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Support customers at each stage of their home-buying journey by providing high-quality service and strengthening customer loyalty.
- Work closely with teams across Personal, Business, and Private Banking to deliver a smooth customer experience while demonstrating ANZ values.
- Represent the brand locally as a home lending specialist, including speaking at events and supporting the development of colleagues.
- Grow mortgage business by building trusted connections with external partners such as accountants, lawyers, and real estate professionals.
- Follow ANZ policies, risk standards, and regulatory obligations while maintaining sound credit quality.
Required Experience and Skills
- Ability to work independently in both in-person and remote settings.
- Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
- Background in retail personal lending and credit assessment.
- Ability to review income and expenses to judge affordability and support lending decisions.
- Good collaboration skills and experience working across internal teams.
- Demonstrated success in business development and relationship management with external stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring team members and contributing to team initiatives.
