Role Overview
This role supports the Women’s RTW team in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for the Americas boutiques. The position focuses on reporting, assortment planning, product tools, market analysis, and the distribution and replenishment of seasonal and carryover product.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine weekly sales Excel reports to confirm performance is aligned with targets.
- Compile weekly business summaries for senior leadership.
- Help rebalance stock each week to improve sales and increase sell-through.
- Take part in six buying appointments, held in Milan or virtually.
- Build pre-market analyses, including seasonal hindsight reviews to identify wins and opportunities from the prior season in the region.
- Design seasonal assortments by store and size for more than 50 boutiques, following the brand’s vision and market needs.
- Manage seasonal and replenishment product allocation for boutiques.
- Work closely with retail teams to respond to day-to-day product questions.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to keep seasonal investments prominent while staying within brand presentation standards.
- Support markdown planning by recommending styles and consolidating inventory into stronger markdown-performing stores.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to monitor shipments and delivery progress.
- Assess local market conditions, including trends, competitor positioning, and customer profile.
- Maintain a regular presence in boutiques to review sales trends, assortment accuracy, product placement, and overall store image.
- Collaborate with Store Management to understand commercial needs.
- Collect and prepare materials for product development recommendations and competitor reviews.
- Introduce seasonal collections to store teams and communicate sales strategy clearly across all staff levels.
- Deliver product training to store sales teams and provide introductory Women’s RTW training for new hires.
- Prepare training presentations and product materials for store education sessions.
- Work with Retail Operations to identify Women’s RTW selling-event opportunities and define sales goals.
- Track merchandise deliveries before and after events and ensure client orders are followed through.
- Represent the Women’s RTW category to stores and retail partners during events, sharing product expertise and supporting brand standards.
- Assist with client appointments during events and contribute to the overall client selling experience.
Experience and Skills
- At least 5 to 7 years of merchandising experience.
- Prior experience in luxury retail is preferred, ideally within Women’s RTW.
- Strong ability to organize work, manage time, multitask, and set priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking in public and delivering presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. and internationally.
- A positive, entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative, team-first approach.
Compensation and Additional Information
The annual base salary for this position is between $100,000 and $110,000. The role may also qualify for bonuses and other incentive-based compensation. Final pay can vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
