Merchandiser (Apparel)

Role Overview

Trendz Global Sourcing is looking for a seasoned Merchandiser to support its apparel sourcing operations in Tiruppur. The role calls for someone who is organized, commercially aware, and comfortable working across development, production, and dispatch stages in the garment supply chain.

What You’ll Handle

• Own the merchandising process end to end, starting from product development and continuing through shipment.
• Track sampling, costing, approval cycles, and production schedules to keep orders moving on time.
• Work closely with buyers, factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align execution.
• Watch order progress closely and intervene early to protect delivery timelines.
• Keep merchandising files, reports, and documentation accurate and up to date.

What the Role Requires

• Hands-on background in apparel merchandising, sourcing, or garment manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and how production is carried out.
• Prior experience handling outerwear and innerwear product lines.
• Ability to manage large order volumes and several production runs at the same time.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and external partners.
• Comfort with costing, sampling, order follow-up, production planning, and execution.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Compensation

The position offers a salary of ₹3.6 LPA along with performance-linked benefits.
